Carl's main clinical interests are Implantology, in which he has 20 years of experience, Reconstructive Surgery and Orthognathic Surgery and teaching in the above mentioned areas. Since October 2000, he has run Implantology courses at EDI -CPD, University College London and also lectures nationally and internationally.
Carl worked in two University Hospitals in the Department of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery in Stockholm, Sweden and Aarhus, Denmark as Assistant Professor for five years. During this period, he also worked at several Implant Clinics and a Private Hospital as a Consultant with implant treatment of patients with all kinds of complex cases.
In 1998 he moved to London, England, and worked at the Eastman Dental Institute, University College London. First as Clinical lecturer, full-time, at the Department of Oral and Maxillofacial Implantology until 2002 and from 2002 Clinical lecturer part-time at Eastman Dental Institute – Continuing Professional Development, University College London to date.
Alongside this Carl also runs a surgical private practice in London with special interest in Oral & Maxillofacial surgery and Implantology. Carl joined Stradbrook in 2007.
