Dr Gert van Zyl
BChD MSc Implantology
Dr Van Zyl has extensive experience in implantology spanning over more than a decade and includes sinus graft and bone augmentation procedures. He has placed and restored hundreds of implants ranging from simple to advance implant surgery and works in conjunction with the in–house periodontist to achieve optimal tissue aesthetic and maintenance.
He has undertaken a broad spectrum of implant training including a one year Implantology course at the Tatum institute, Applied Surgical Anatomy at Lille University, France and Ashok Sethi’s Year Implantology Course, focusing on aesthetic and tissue consideration in the aesthetic zone. He has a MSc in Implantology from Warwick University, researching Alveolar Distraction Osteogenesis. Dr Van Zyl has also attended several European implant conferences.
