Mark Haswell joined Stradbrook Dental Surgery in 1990 and began carrying out implant-based treatment in 1991. He was one of the first UK dentists to undertake an MSc in Implant Dentistry, and qualified in 1998 with the Branemark prize from the Eastman Dental Institute. He now teaches on a number of programmes at the Eastman, and teaches both nationally and internationally for various implant companies, as well as running in-house courses for referring practitioners.He has placed over 4000 implants to date and the practice places over 600 implants a year.
