The Briars has been a dental practice since 1908 and is today one of the foremost dental surgeries in Newbury, Berkshire and Southern England.
During the 1960's, the Practice became established as one of the premier private practices outside Harley Street and in the 1990's, developed into one of the first "Multi - Discipline" Specialist Dental Practices in the UK. In addition to providing high quality dentistry in Newbury, many of our dentists are active in the field of postgraduate dental education. This involves running courses and lecturing to many dentists across the UK and occasionally, internationally.

Nicholas joined The Briars Dental Centre as a general dental practitioner and partner in May 2007 with a special interest in restorative, cosmetic and implant dentistry, this has been further augmented with postgraduate studies in sedation and undertaking a year long programme in the use and advantages of the Dentsply Friadent Ankylos implant system. He is also a member of the Association of Dental Implantology. Nicholas qualified as a Dental Technician in 1987 then later in training in Maxillo-Facial Technology prior to gaining a BDSc from the University of Western Australia in 1999.
