This long-established practice moved to new premises on the edge of Shrewsbury town centre in 2009. The new dental centre is equipped to the same high standards, but is now located on the ground floor, with easy disabled access and plenty of parking.
The practice has been awarded the BDA Good Practice Standard - one of few practices in Shropshire to hold this benchmark of quality care for its patients. The practice was inspected for the exacting Diploma in Implant Dentistry in 2008 and passed without the need for any changes.

Richard Gatenby has carried out Dental Implantology for over  20 years, restoring missing single teeth, multiple gaps with implant retained bridges and stabilizing loose dentures as well as full mouth reconstructions.
He embarked on the widely acclaimed ‘Gold Standard’ qualification in Dental Implantology hosted by the RCS of England and was successful in attaining this qualification in 2007, at the first sitting. He is one of the very few dentists, internationally, to hold the Diploma in Implantology for the RCS of England.
