Sharad Patel lectures nationally and internationally on cosmetic dentistry, implantology and all ceramic restorative systems. He has been practising implant dentistry for more than ten years, during which he has placed more than 2,000 implants.
Dr Patel has enormous enthusiasm for his profession and is driven continually to extend the boundaries of his knowledge. He is a Fellow of the International Congress of Oral Implantology and a certified Instructor for the International Society of Computerised Dentistry. He also enjoys membership of the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry and the Association of Dental Implantology UK.

Patients just beginning to think about dental implant treatment may find it helpful to attend a complimentary preliminary consultation with Dr Patel. This appointment does not include a clinical examination and it only takes 15 minutes. The discussion will help you consider the options for treating your dental problems and decide whether to proceed to a clinical consultation for implants. Once you have decided in principle that you want implant treatment, the next step is a clinical consultation. This includes a comprehensive oral examination, and results in production of a fully-costed individual plan for your treatment. The fee for the clinical assessment appointment and provision of your personal treatment plan is £ 90, excluding X-rays/CT scans. The cost of the treatment planning consultation is refunded when you proceed with the treatment.

There are several courses available at the surgery, for any dentists wishing to place their first implant to advanced bone and soft tissue surgery.
